Citizen engagement and co-creation

Almere Buiten

The area has a higher proportion of residents with a migration background, lower education levels, and lower incomes compared to other neighbourhoods. Mobility poverty remains a key challenge, with cars being the dominant mode of transport. The LLL will focus on exploring sustainable mobility solutions to improve accessibility and inclusivity.

A City for Everyone

The city is committed to strengthening community living and addressing gentrification and social fragmentation. The initiative actively engages diverse communities—spanning different genders, generations, and cultures—to gather valuable insights and ensure inclusive urban development.

Rechts der Wertach

Rechts der Wertach is home to a diverse community,
with a high proportion of residents from migration
backgrounds, younger demographics, and individuals
receiving social support. The LLL in this area will focus
on inclusive participation, ensuring that all voices are
heard in shaping sustainable urban mobility.

Carvalhido & Amial

Carvalhido and Amial are historically rich neighborhoods with a diverse mix of low- and high-income residents, as well as a higher proportion of elderly and migrant communities. As key school districts, these areas play an important role in shaping mobility habits. The LLL will also explore the impact of large social housing projects on urban mobility and accessibility.

Meidlinger Markt Quartier & Hasnerstraße

These neighbourhoods are home to a diverse population, with a significant number of residents from migration backgrounds. The LLL in Vienna will focus on inclusive engagement, ensuring diverse perspectives are integrated into urban mobility solutions.
